1 Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using YogSetu, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
Note: These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and YogSetu. By using the app, you accept all terms outlined in this document.
2 Description of Service
YogSetu provides the following services:
- Yoga instruction videos and tutorials
- Meditation and pranayama guidance
- Live yoga classes (for premium subscribers)
- Health tracking features (step counter, water intake)
- Naad - meditation sounds and music
- Personalized wellness recommendations
- Digital library of yoga and wellness content
3 User Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Accurate Information: Providing accurate and complete information during registration
- Account Security: Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- Activity Responsibility: All activities that occur under your account
- Notification: Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to use our services.
4 Health Disclaimer
Important Health Notice: YogSetu is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your physician or qualified health provider before starting any exercise program.
By using YogSetu, you acknowledge that:
- You should consult a healthcare professional before starting any yoga or exercise program
- If you experience any pain or discomfort during practice, you should stop immediately and seek medical attention
- YogSetu and its instructors are not liable for any injuries that may occur from following our content
- You participate in all activities at your own risk
5 Subscription & Payments
Our subscription terms include:
- Free Plan: Limited access to basic features at no cost
- Premium Plan: ₹299/month - Full access to most features
- Pro Plan: ₹599/month - All features including offline downloads and 1-on-1 sessions
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Payments are processed through Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Refunds are subject to the respective app store policies. We recommend reviewing your app store's refund policy for more information.
6 Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings. Upon cancellation:
- You will retain access until the end of your current billing period
- No partial refunds will be issued for unused time
- Your account will revert to free tier access
- Downloaded content (Pro users) will no longer be accessible after subscription ends
7 User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Share your account credentials with others
- Copy, distribute, or modify our content without permission
- Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the application
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or instructors
- Use the service to transmit harmful code or content
- Create multiple accounts to abuse free trials or promotions
- Use automated systems to access the service
8 Intellectual Property
All content on YogSetu, including but not limited to:
- Videos and audio content
- Images and graphics
- Text and written content
- Logos and trademarks
- Software and application code
Is the property of YogSetu or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
9 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YogSetu shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
- Damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service
- Any injuries or health issues resulting from following our content
- Unauthorized access to your personal information
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
10 Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:
- We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification
- The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised
- Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically for any updates.
11 Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe:
- Violates these Terms or any applicable laws
- Is harmful to other users, us, or third parties
- Involves fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized use
Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which should survive termination shall survive.
12 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
